RELEASE OF CHILDREN:
Students will be released ONLY to those listed on the enrollment application. Temporary permission for a student to be released must be in writing. No telephone calls will be accepted as temporary permission. Students may not be picked up by minors unless a Minor Release Form is on file in the office. ALL PERSONS SHOULD BE PREPARED TO SHOW INDENTIFICATION.
PLEASE SIGN LOG WITH TIME AND SIGNATURE OF PERSON TAKING THE CHILD/CHILDREN OUT OF THE CENTER’S CARE.
ILLNESS AND EXCLUSION/PARENTAL NOTIFICATION
A child cannot attend daycare if one or more of the following exists:
· The illness prevents the child from participating comfortably in childcare center activities, including outdoor play.
· The illness results in a greater need for care that caregivers can provide without compromising the health, safety, and supervision of the other children.
· The child can return to daycare with a signed release from the physicians that the child can return to daycare setting.
IF A CHILD GETS ILL WHILE AT THE CENTER:
· We will contact parent to pick up the child
· Care for the child apart from other children
Children must be FREE OF FEVER OR 24 HOURS before attending school unless they have a written release from the doctor stating they are not contagious. Children not able to participate in regular activities should return to school until able to do so. (Except in extreme weather, children are expected to go outside every day.) Parents will be notified when illness occurs at the day care. Parents are required to pick up the child WITHIN 30 MINUTES. Please notify the office in the event of a contagious illness.
